Yes I know its been a while, I’ve been extremely busy and blogging had to be put on the back-burner unfortunately. But you can all rejoice, I am back and what a comeback I have for you all!

I’m sure you have all heard of Hairbond right? if not, are you bald?!

Scott, founder of Hairbond and I got together to talk about the upcoming exciting new releases that they have ;in store for us.

First things first, let me say how excited I am to find out that the Distorter is upgrading into the premium jars and doubling up to 100ml!

There is also a Limited Edition version of Moulder with a snazzy gold top (“Golder” see what they did there?), so if you like the moulder be sure to invest in one when they become available as there will only be very limited quantities on sale and should hit the shelves around June time.

And finally, the most exciting news this year. There will be a new addition to the Hairbond family, the Shaper Hair Toffee! This is a natural step to make for Hairbond as it is the missing link for the range. A product that has ultra strong hold with a more textured, more stickier look.

Another thing, if you are familiar with the Hairbond products is the fragrance, and the Shaper by no means ;disappoints. It has most definitely the best fragrance of the lot, the main smell being butterscotch with hints of vanilla. Sure to make the ladies go wild!

Texture-wise, it is different to the other range, taking a little bit in the palm of my hand it is a thick, sticky paste that you can tell will hold whatever style you want with ease. I would say it is more suited to hair a little bit longer to get the full effect of texture.

This is the only tub in the world right now and i’m quite honoured to have gotten the chance to have a try a bit for myself before it goes on sale. I think this product is going to be big, shadowing its competition with ease, I have always loved Distorter but I can honestly say I can’t wait to get my hands on the Shaper again, it truly is a game changer.

The wait however is a long one, due to the rigorous testing and fine tuning of the formula to make sure the product is of the utmost quality (the fragrance alone took Scott months to get right!) the Shaper should be available around August time this year.

Here are some pics of how the Shaper looks on my hair, it is fairly long right now but you can get the idea of the texture and hold it produces.
